The Bowie County Patriots is a weekly meeting of grassroots citizens of Bowie County, Texas, united by a shared commitment to Christian and Constitutional values, local, state and federal civic engagement, and government accountability. We host educational forums, support local and statewide initiatives, and encourage active participation in the political process at every level. We host dozens of presenters from influential organizations around the state throughout the year. We get accused of not being Republican. Perhaps its because we see ourselves to the right of most "Republicans" these days? The fact is, we firmly believe in the Preamble and Principles stated in the Republican Party of Texas platform! Do you?
Our goal is to inform, equip, and mobilize residents of Bowie County to uphold individual liberty, traditional values, and principled leadership in our community. Many people get involved by traveling to Austin to convince legislators to fight for constitutional lawmaking and conservative values. Some of us block walk to educate the general public on various issues while others just want more information with which to influence friends and neighbors. Everyone can help in one way or another. Come and be a Bowie County Patriot!
We meet at Big Jake's BBQ in Nash, TX on Thursdays at 6pm in the "party" room. Come early, order your food (be sure to tell them you're with the party room) and they'll bring it to you in the meeting.
